Popular Ghanaian actor and comedian, Akrobeto, has refuted claims that spiritual reasons could underline a motor accident he had over the weekend on his way from Kumasi to Accra.
A traditional priest of Sabaliki shrine in Sandema in the Upper East region, Nana Sabaliki recently threatened to kill actors Akrobeto, Emelia Brobbey, Kwaku Manu, Wayosi, and the Executive Producer of a movie (Diawuo), Michael Duah, aka Munche for taking on his character and mimicking him in the yet-to-be-released movie.
Nana Sabaliki is however demanding that the producer and actor should appease him or he would kill them one after the other.
But Akrobeto told Adom News from his hospital bed that the accident was purely a result of the bad nature of the road and has got nothing to do with the supposed threats of Nana Sabaliki.
Meanwhile the accident has put fear in some actors in that movie, including Salinko who told Adom News the accident was too strange to be normal.
He therefore appealed to the movie producer to go and apologize to Nana Sabaliki before the actors in the movie die one after the other.
Kwaku Manu on the other hand believes nothing would happen to him because he did no wrong in acting in the movie.
The producer Munche, also insists he has invested so much in the movie so he cannot withdraw the movie from the market.
