Come December 15, some of Ghana’s biggest gospel acts will converge at the New Doma auditorium of the Action Chapel International at Spintex in Accra for the maiden edition of Worship Above Reason (W.A.R) concert.
The power packed event, organised by Ireva Consult, will feature back to back performances from the renowned gospel acts on one stage.
W.A.R will also be used to pray and intercede for the peace and security of Ghana.
The maiden edition will feature performances from Joe Mettle, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Gifty Osei, Ohemaa Mercy, Yaw Sarpong, Nacee, Uncle Ato, and Diana Asamoah.
Joyce Blessing, Cwesi Oteng, Ceccy Twum, SP Kofi Sarpong, OJ, Bernard Amankwah, Obaapa Christy, Patience Nyarko, and Francis Amo make up the rest of artistes billed for the concert.
Frank Kwabena Owusu, CEO of Ireva Consult, told Myjoyonline.com that the night will be a spirit-filled one.
Mr Owusu, who doubles as the host of ‘This is Gospel’ on Hitz FM, noted that apart from the music and intercede prayers, the concert will highlight and tackle some of the critical issues affecting Ghana’s development.
W.A.R, he stressed, will help cause a paradigm shift in Ghana.
