Government and Hospital Pharmacists will embark on an indefinite strike tomorrow to protest to failure by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission to migrate them onto the single spine policy.
The Association is asking the Fair Wages Commission to review their job evaluation scores on the single spine salary structure.
A compulsory arbitration by the National Labour Commission with the Association last year did not yield any result.
Ernest Owusu Aboagye spokesperson for the Association told Joy News they have been forced to lay down their tools because of feet dragging by the FWSC.
But the National Labour Commission said the Association cannot embark on a strike as negotiations are ongoing.
Meanwhile an Accra high court has adjourned a case involving authorities of the National Health Insurance Scheme and the Pharmaceutical Society to April 25.
The service providers are opposing the implementation of the NHIS pilot capitation system in Kumasi.
