ACE Radio Presenter and impresario, Joy FM’s ‘Drive Time’ host Nat Kwabena Adisis aka Bola Ray, has commence a weekly entertainment show on Ghana’s premier entertainment FM station Hitz 103.7 FM.
The show, dubbed: ‘Showbiz Today’, review and preview entertainment events and happenings as well as music and movie releases.
According to the Programmes Director of Hitz 103.7 FM, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey aka Daddy Bosco, the decision to run such a show is in line with the station's mandate to provide quality entertainment programmes to its listeners.
In that regard, he said the show would deal with all the issues that pertain to the entertainment industry, indicating that personalities on the show would be the crème de la crème of the Ghanaian showbiz.
The show also features a panel of leading entertainment critics who dissect the critical entertainment issues as and when they come up, he said.
‘Showbiz Today’ was first aired on Saturday April 28, 2012 and it is expected to come off every Saturday from 2:00pm. to 4:00pm.
Bola Ray expressed his enthusiasm about the show, indicating that he would bring his years of experience in showbiz to bear on the show.
Bola Ray began his disc jockeying career over a decade ago at Radio Universe before moving to Top Radio and then Joy FM.
He has also hosted Music-Music on TV3 in addition to hosting many events worldwide. Bola is the first African presenter to be hosted on Tim West wood's BBC show.
