Five journalists of The Multimedia Group have been shortlisted to receive awards at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) awards slated for October 27.
They are Seth Kwame Boateng, Joseph Opoku Gakpo, Joojo Cobinnah, Ernest Kojo Manu and David Andoh.
Seth, Joojo, Joseph and David have already won awards in previous editions of the awards for their various works.
A seven-member committee that made the shortlist said the nominees were selected based on accuracy, balance, potential impact of the story, background, accuracy, ethical standards, initiative, and language presentation.
Out of the 500 entries received by the Committee, 36 reporters have been shortlisted for their outstanding reportage in the year in review.
An honourary membership award has also been set aside for media house owners and citizens who have distinguished themselves.
The event will be held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
