As part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities, C&G Aleksa Company Limited, a mining firm based in the Western Region has fulfilled significant social intervention project for the Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces in Accra.
The project, which involves re-construction and asphalting of the main entrance road leading to the administration block, visitors’ car park and tarring of the 300-meter square Parade Square.

The project which also included the installation of CCTV cameras and other security fittings is at a cost of a whopping 2million Ghana cedis.
These areas until now were in a very deplorable state.
The Chief Executive Officer of C& G Aleska Company, Simon Aydin tell journalists the project is in line with the company’s civic responsibilities to give back to society.
He says the company is determined and committed to contributing its quota to society.
He revealed the second phase of the project to construct all link roads at the headquarters of the Southern command could soon commence.
Several communities in the company’s catchment area such as, Sraha, Dwobo, Ayem, Amanase, Akatrika, as well as Ajakamanso -all in the Western region, have benefitted from the generosity of C& G Aleska.
For instance, a six-unit classroom block is been constructed at Amanase whilst a Community Center is been constructed for Dwobo community despite the community receiving GH 100,000 in cash donations.
Other beneficiaries include Ayem where a KVIP toilet facility is under construction after a cash donation of GH¢80, 000 given to support some self-initiated projects in the community; construction of bridge at Akatrika and donation of two incubators to Kokrokoo Charities at a cost of USD 20,000.
