The Law Faculty of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration will on Thursday, November 1, hold a lecture in honour of its immediate past Dean, Ernest Kofi Abotsi.
The honorary lecture will have Dr. Dominic Ayine, a former Deputy Attorney-General of Ghana speaking on the topic, 'Law and Democracy in Ghana: The Fourth Republic in Perspective'.
A former Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights of Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Justice Emile Short will chair the function which will start at 4pm at the Daniel McKorley Moot Courtroom at the GIMPA Law Faculty.
Mr. Ernest Kofi Abotsi was acting Dean of the Law Faculty and subsequently became Dean. He served in these capacities for five years.
Under Mr. Abotsi's leadership as Dean, the GIMPA Law Faculty has and continues to gain recognition as a reputable law faculty in Ghana.
