Counselor and pastor, Rev. Daniel Annan, has expressed that men always appreciate what they expect their women to be.
He said that both genders were created differently and women should understand the needs of their husbands to be able to satisfy them.
“We’re not the same. When you’re in a relationship or marriage, don’t think the man will appreciate what you want to be; he’ll appreciate what he wants you to be,” Rev. Annan said during a conversation on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show on Thursday.
Using Samson and Delilah’s story in the Bible, he highlighted that it is important for every woman to identify at least three physical qualities within themselves that can attract the attention of their husbands and prevent them from cheating, adding that the needs vary with men.
He stated that Samson revealed his secret to his wife because Delilah knew where and how to get her husband, which eventually succeeded.
Also, the counsellor pointed out that ladies should identify a specific thing that makes them stand out and use that to impress their spouses, emphasising that the woman might be going astray while thinking she is doing the right thing.
“If it is the back, package it well because he loves the back. So, you package the back very well to make it standard, not something else you cannot draw,” he relayed.
To him, a man cheats due to care and some values he likes that may be missing in his wife.
Rev. Annan said the efforts applied to please one’s husband complement and enhance the bond in the marriage.
