Sensational female vocalist, Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, known by her stage name Abiana, has been honoured with four nominations at the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2023 edition.
Abiana was nominated for Best Album/EP of the Year, her song ‘Far Away’ got nominated for Record of The Year category, and also earned the artiste a nomination for Best Female Vocal Performance.
She was also honoured with the Best Highlife Artiste of The Year nomination.
The annual event which used to be referred to as the VGMA, celebrates the finest talents in the Ghanaian music industry and recognises their immense contributions to the creative arts sector.
During the year under review, Abiana worked extremely hard, releasing her maiden EP titled “Taste of Africa” which had hit songs like Far Away, African Highlife, Desire, and High amongst others.

Abiana’s soulful and mesmerizing voice has captivated listeners both in Ghana and across the globe, earning her widespread recognition. It is, therefore, not a surprise at all that she gets nominated for the “Best Female Vocal Performance.”
Her nominations across multiple categories are a testament to her versatility as an artist and her ability to deliver exceptional performances to different categories of audiences.
In a post on Facebook, Abiana extends her gratitude to the Charter House, the organisers of the TGMA, as well as her fans for their unwavering support throughout her musical journey.
She remains committed to delivering exceptional music that resonates with listeners and showcases the rich cultural heritage of Ghana.
“Immense gratitude to God, my management team, and every single one of you for your unwavering love and support over the years. We've secured 4 nominations this year @ghanamusicawards, and it's all thanks to your incredible support. I couldn't have achieved this without you all,” she stated.
