The GSE All-Share Index jumped 123.93 points to 6,833.61 points from 6,709.68 points after four equities made gains to push it up.
This brings the gain so far this year to 22.63 percent.
Traded volumes were stronger at 2.93 million shares valued at GH¢922,126.36.
On the broader market, there were six price changes-four up and two down.
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.19, SG-SSB Bank added GH¢0.04 at GH¢0.60, Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) went up GH¢0.03 at GH¢3.68 and Fan Milk Limited gained GH¢0.04 at GH¢7.15.
Ecobank Ghana fell GH¢0.03 at GH¢3.50 and State Insurance Company slipped GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.36.
Market Capitalization closed the session at GH¢18,263.08 million up from GH¢18,225.16 million on Friday.
