With barely a week to the biggest esports festival in Accra, the organisers, PopOut and Esports Academy, have announced mouthwatering prizes for the various games.
Over ₵20,000 cash prizes and other amazing products will be awarded to individuals who display great dexterity in the eight competitive events scheduled for January 9–14, 2023.
Over a thousand gamers will compete in Conquest, Teens Esports Championship, Mobile Games Championship, Girls in Gaming, Velocity Championship, Slam Dunk Championship, Virtual Reality Challenge, and Ultimate Battle.
The grand finals of these competitions will be on Super Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Video games such as FIFA 23, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, NBA 2K23, Clash Royale, Frozen Free Fall Games, Apex League, and Fortnite will also be available.
Accra Esports Week (AEW) will also bring together video gamers, industry leaders, gaming communities, hubs, clubs, brands, retailers, and other stakeholders.
