The Managing Director of Activa International Insurance Company, Mr. Stephen Kyerematen says his company is committed to forging genuine friendship and long lasting collaboration with the Liberian Insurance industry.
The Activa Boss said this when he officially launched the Activa International Insurance Company in Liberia in October this year.
Presenting the company’s mission statement at the launch, Mr. Kyerematen announced Activa’s specialty in the areas of short term insurance, underwriting of large corporate risks, industrial and contractor risks, and motor fleet and marine cargo insurance among others.
“While in Liberia, Activa clients will enjoy the same Globus network standards of professionalism, efficiency and trust enjoyed across Africa”, Mr. Kyerematen assured its Liberia clients.
An elated Group Chairman of Activa International Insurance, Mr. Nzonlie Lowe Richard expressed his joy that Activa was granted license to operate in Liberia.
“The opportunity to be granted an operational license in Liberia is one of the proudest moments in our existence”, he added.
The Central Bank of Liberia licensed Activa International Insurance Company in May, 2013 to begin operations in Liberia.
In his address, Mr. John Davies, President of the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment said the coming of Activa to Liberia is a clear indication that the country is safe for trade.
“I strontly believe that the coming of Activa here is a way of taking insurance to another level. And I am confident that its presence will yield more dividends to the people of Liberia in the insurance sector”, he added.
Activa International Insurance is a member of the Activa Assurance Group, a Pan-African insurance group of companies and the originator of the Globus Insurance Network, which was incorporated in 2007 in Cameroun.
The Globus Network, the largest of its kind in Africa, is a grouping of 36 well positioned and dynamic insurance companies in 36 African countries which enable multinational and global clients to have expert and world-class insurance services across the African continent.
Currently, the Globus Network offers tailor-made insurance solutions to multi-national companies across four different language zones on the African continent; namely: English, French, Portuguese and Arab speaking countries.
