Advans Ghana Savings & Loans Ltd attained a great feat at the distinguished 34th Annual National Marketing Performance awards and the HR Focus Conference & Awards, 2023.
The institution was awarded Savings and Loans Company of the Year 2022 and the Most Promising HR Management, Banking & Finance, further affirming its dedication to customer satisfaction as well as employee development and engagement.
The CIMG, Savings and Loans Company of the Year 2022 award was presented in recognition of Advans Ghana’s initiatives which were meticulously developed through customer-centric market feedback and comprehensive research, emphasising the institution's commitment to addressing client needs and promoting financial inclusion.
The initiatives resulted in the introduction of key offerings such as its complete Digital Transformation project to improve clients and staff experience, Automatic Loan Renewal which affords a loan in 24 hours for its Best MSME clients, and Shea Business Empowerment Programme to support Women Cooperatives operating in the Shea Value-Chains.

Commenting on the award, Olivier Bailly-Béchet, Chief Executive Officer said “This award affirms the persistent hard work and continuous improvement we implore in the daily execution of our business transformation agenda for the benefit of our clients and staff. This is also an encouragement to continue to innovate to address the needs of our clients by always having a customer-centric approach. In a separate event, the HR Focus Conference & Awards, 2023, Advans Ghana Savings & Loans received the Most Promising HR Management, Banking & Finance award, reaffirming the institution's dedication to nurturing a work environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
Mary Agyei Frimpong, Chief Human Resources Officer, was also recognized as a finalist in the Human Resources Manager of the Year category, adding to the institution's accolades.
Commenting on the HR award, Mrs. Mary Agyei Frimpong emphasized the institution's ongoing investment in technological innovations and strategic HR practices, aiming to create an enabling work environment that enhances employee experience and enables them to serve clients effectively and efficiently.
Prior to receiving the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and HR Focus Awards, Advans Ghana won 3 Awards in 2023:
- Brand of the Year Award (Savings and Loans Category) at the 2023 Ghana Business Standards awards organized by KN Communications,
- Contribution to Financial Literacy at the maiden edition of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Awards organized by GHAMFIN
- Best in Trade Services (Savings and Loans Category) at the 2nd edition of the Ghana Trade and Commerce Awards organized by the Business Executive Magazine
