The head coach of Egypt, Rui Vitoria, says his team's preparation for the game against Ghana is beyond Mohammed Kudus.
Egypt face Ghana in their second group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations knowing a win could put them in a good place to advance from the group.
The Pharaohs were held to a 2-2 draw against Mozambique in their opening game of the competition and know the importance of a win against the Black Stars.
One player that has got a lot of people talking about his quality is Kudus. Speaking about the West Ham United midfielder ahead of Thursday's game Vitoria said Ghana has other good players and not only Kudus.
"I think it's good for the tournament. The best players play all the games. Of course. He's a fantastic player. He's doing well in the Premier League. In this [tournament], I'm ready to face that kind of player," the Portuguese told the press.
"We are ready for that. We will prepare the team for that if he plays. We have to control him. But not only him, because the Ghanaian team is very good and all the players are good."
The game is at 8:00 pm and Vitoria will be hoping his team gets the needed results at the end of 90 minutes.
