The Black Princesses of Ghana will face Senegal in the semifinal of the 2023 African Games following their draw in their final group game.
Ghana faced Uganda in the third group game having already won the opening two fixtures against Ethiopia and Tanzania.
Mukarama Abdulai scored her second goal of the tournament to ensure that Yusif Basigi'ss side continued their unbeaten run in the competition.
Uganda took the lead in the 11th minute of the game after a well-worked setpiece beat goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku with Ghana falling behind.
Tracey Twum came close to getting the equaliser for Ghana on two occasions but her efforts were not enough to beat her opposition.
However, with nine minutes away from the break, Mukarama drew Ghana level.
The Hasaacas Ladies attacker received the ball from Ophelia Amponsah before curling her effort past the goalkeeper to make it 1-1.
Mukarama should have gotten on the scoresheet again in the second half but fluffed her decision-making in the final third on a couple of occasions with the game going on to end in a draw.
The draw meant Ghana finished top of Group A with Uganda finishing in second with five points.
Ghana will now face Senegal in the next round of the competition, scheduled for Monday, March 18, while Uganda also play Nigeria.
