The much-anticipated annual Luv FM Family Party in the Park at the green Rattray Park in Kumasi has come alive as families converge to renew bonds and entertain themselves on New Year's Day.

Parents and kids are queuing with excitement, as the tone is set for the fun-packed day where laughter and bonding are assured.

Patrons are enjoying good live music performances, vibrant kids’ playful activities, good food, and moments of community togetherness.

Almost every corner of the Kumasi Rattary Park hosted an attraction, giving families a wide range of activities to choose from.

Children are seen enjoying face painting, bouncing castles, trampolines, electric trains, and swimming pools, while others take part in dancing and riding competitions.

The swimming pool is full of kids and teens who are having the fun of their lives to begin the year.

Adults, on the other hand, are relaxed around tables, chatting and sharing meals as they soak in the communal spirit of the event.

Organizers say this year’s party is seeing higher attendance, with the introduction of additional fun games and extended activities at the adults' corner.

Many patrons also praised the affordability of the event, noting that the GH¢10 entrance fee made it accessible to families seeking a memorable way to celebrate the New Year.

“With just 10 cedis each, I have secured my family this enjoyment. There are foods here, and even the peace here is top-notch,” a man with a family of seven said.

Meanwhile, this year did not only opened doors for kids and families but business organizations.

A group of persons with disability, “Relationship and Marriage Club,” is excited that the union could catch some fun and good time at the party where they can plan for the year's activities.

“This is our third year, and it looks like we won't stop coming. We are able to have our meetings and make preparations for the rest of the year,“ their leader said.
