Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, in a gesture of support, expressed confidence in his successor, urging the Ministry of Finance staff to rally behind Amin Adam in the successful execution of key programs, including the IMF-ECF program aimed at driving economic growth and transformation.
Mr Ofori-Atta also extended his gratitude to the ministry's staff for their dedicated service and commitment to excellence.
He stressed the importance of upholding professionalism, ethics, efficiency, and responsiveness in their roles, envisioning a future of "Ghana Beyond Aid."
However, despite the positive reception, some stakeholders have raised concerns about the timing of Amin Adam's appointment and the potential impact on the ministry's operations.
