Ghanaian highlife musician and broadcaster Nana Osei Ampofo Adjei will join legendary artiste Abrantie Amakye Dede on stage in London for a landmark celebration of Amakye Dede’s 50 years in the Ghanaian music industry.
The much-anticipated concert is set for June 14, 2025, at the Dominion Centre, located at 9 The Broadway High Road, Wood Green, London N22 6DS.
Organised by Amakye Dede and his management team, the event will honour his immense contribution to highlife music and show appreciation to fans who have supported him throughout his illustrious career.
The lineup includes some of Ghana’s celebrated highlife stars, such as Nana Acheampong, KK Fosu, Lee Dodou, KiDi, and Ampofo Adjei. More performers are expected to be announced soon.
Attendees can expect a night of dancing, nostalgia, and timeless music as Amakye Dede performs classics like “Brebrebe Yi”, “Mensuro”, “Mabre”, “Broken Promises”, “Nsuo Amuna”, “Sokoo Na Mmaa Pe”, “Dabi Dabi”, “Okyena Sesei”, and “Odo Nfonii”.
Beyond the music, the concert is also expected to foster a sense of community and cultural pride among Ghanaians in the UK.
Organizers have promised an unforgettable experience for lovers of highlife music in and around London.
Nana Osei Ampofo Adjei, a presenter at Adom FM/Adom TV, is also the son of the late highlife great Akwasi Ampofo Adjei.
