Majeed Ashimeru, who was loaned to RSC Anderlecht by RB Salzburg during the last winter transfer window, is now officially a Mauve.
Thank you @RedBullSalzburg for the opportunity you gave me to continue with my development in Europe, I am eternally grateful.

The Belgium club made the move permanent after Ashimeru signed a four-year deal.
The midfielder made 12 appearances for Anderlecht whilst on loan last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Sporting director of Anderlecht, Peter Verbeke explained why the Belgium giants made the move permanent.
"Despite a difficult integration due to Covid and an injury, Majeed has shown in his best moments what he can teach us. He has an excellent vista and passing, coupled with speed and infiltration ability, interesting qualities to give our midfield a little extra bring the following seasons."

Olympique Marseille, Werder Bremen and Getafe were all interested in the 23-year-old but Ashimeru chose Anderlecht because he appreciates how well the club treated him during his loan and he loves the city too.
The former WAFA midfielder will still stick with the number 18 jersey at Anderlecht.
