The Kantanka Automobile Group has been adjudged "Innovative Company of the Year" at the Eagles Summit Africa 2014.
Its Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo was also adjudged Trend Setter of the Year.
Dr. Sarfo is recognized for contributing to the rise of Africa as a contemporary man through technological innovation; among them the Kantanka range of vehicles.

The event was held on the theme: Africa's Rise, the Role of a Contemporary African at the Zenith University College Saturday, November 1.

The citation accompanying the award to the Kantanka Group read: “As a legend in entrepreneurial activities on the continent, the Kantanka Group has led and pioneered lots of innovative works in the various sectors with distinction. The technological advancement being displayed by this company is very laudable and a great achievement not for the company alone but the continent at large. We believe this will go a long way to open more doors for investors and young innovators and through this. Africa is really proud of the Kantanka Group and we hope to continue witnessing the excellence you have being demonstrating. Congratulations”.

Kwadwo Safo Jnr. collected the Award on behalf of his father.
