Musician, Asake, has finally addressed his bold new look and face tattoos.
Speaking with Billboard on the red carpet of the 67th Grammy Awards, the 30-year-old said he loves to feel comfortable with himself.
“This is how I feel now. I love to feel comfortable in myself, in the things that I feel is good for me, not even about anybody.
“I might wake up tomorrow and you guys may not see any tattoo on my face,” he said.
The 67th Grammys held on Sunday in Los Angeles was Asake’s first. The singer was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category which his compatriot, Tems, won for her song ‘Love Me Jeje’.
Explaining his outfit to his interviewers, Asake said he was in his “military era” and that he likes to dress exactly how he feels.
Asake is rumoured to have parted ways with Olamide’s record label YBNL.
