Tanzania-based Ghanaian striker Kenneth Asamoah has indicated that, several quality players in Ghana are regularly forced to pursue their careers abroad, even in obscure Nations due to the poor state of the local league.
The former Asante Kotoko and real sportive striker is now with YANGA FC in Tanzania where he is banging in the goals for the club.
He told joy sports that, most Ghanaian players leave the shores of this country to seek for more financially rewarding leagues to better their standard of living.
We are not giving the amount of money as footballers here in Ghana and I think that’s the course of players leaving the country.
The 22 year old believes improving the Ghana premier league will keep a lot of these players at home.
