Joy FM’s election discussion programme, Battleground made a stop in the Central Regional constituency of Awutu Senya West, one of the keenly contested seats in the country.
The Constituency could best be described as predominantly a governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) seat because of the party's dominant victory. The NDC has repeatedly won the seat.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Hannah Tetteh faces off with former MTN Communication Director, George Nenyi Andah who has put up a consistent challenge to the Minister.
Mr Andah is convinced the residents are poised for change because of the hardship in they face in the constituency.
The two have always made the headlines with their political antics and drama. The latest was when the NPP parliamentary candidate asked the Minister to show her husband to the residents.
Madam Tetteh did not take the comment likely. She described Mr Andah as childish.
Joy FM's Midday anchor Francis Abban visited the constituency over the weekend. He reported issues of unemployment, the inability of electorates to access the Madam Tetteh as their Member of Parliament (MP) and education as among the issues residents say will determine who they vote for on December 7.

How do the electorates see the two candidates:
Whereas some elderly electorates find Madam Tetteh charming, charismatic and the respects she gives to them, the youth say Mr Udah has found a way to warm himself into their hearts.
According to the youth, they will vote for Mr Andah because he has shown genuine concern for their difficulties and has sought to help.

Who is winning?
Presently, both candidates have put in place infrastructures and projects to enhance the lives of the electorates making it a close call to say who will annex the seat come December 7.
