President Akufo-Addo in his 16th address to the nation on the state of government's efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus indicated that the country's beaches, pubs, cinemas and nightclubs will remain closed.
"Beaches, pubs, cinemas and nightclubs, are still to remain closed until further notice," he said.
Although the restrictions on some social gatherings have been eased, the above-mentioned recreation centres will remain closed until further notice.
President Akufo Addo also tasked all other institutions to ensure that all laid down safety protocols against the spread of the virus are followed.
"All other institutions that have been cleared to function are to continue to do so in strict adherence to the Covid-19 protocols," he added.
