In its bid to boost Ghana’s traditional recipes, the Best Western Premier Hotel, a four star hotel located at Airport in Accra has opened the Mma Zara African Restaurant.
The move according to the Chief Executive, Zibrim Yamusah is to safeguard the local cuisine which is somewhat vanishing in the industry.
Mma Zara African Restaurant, a subsidiary of the Yamusah Group of companies, also owners of Best Western Premier Hotel, he added will promote not just Ghanaian dishes but also the other African foods.
Due to this, Mr. Yamusah revealed that the company has employed one of Africa’s finest chef, Benjamin Asiedu with over 15 years of experience in the industry to meet the needs of customers.
“Mma Zara African Restaurant wants people to taste authentic Ghanaian and African dishes and know where to locate such food joints. We will present special Ghanaian and some West African culinary experience, paired with an exclusive drinks menu made up of some of the best local beverages, wine, spirits and champagne” added.
Also, he noted that the 40 seat restaurant would be managed by Bentie Abigail Baciara also known as Baci, winner of the 2014 Ghana’s Most Beautiful.
