Gaming firm, Betika Ghana, have donated an undisclosed amount of money to Hasaacas Ladies following their success at the end of the 2023/24 women's football season.
Hasaacas Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the final of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League on Saturday, June 8, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Veronica Baa Kumah and Abdulai Mukarama were the difference makers in the game as the Hasmal Ladies reclaimed the top-flight title for the first time since the 2020/21 campaign.
Betika had promised a cash reward for the players if they beat Faith Ladies to reach the final of the women's league which they did in their final Southern Zone game.
After the win over Faith Ladies, Betika decided to increase the promised amount and made the cash donation in the team's dressing room after the final on Saturday.
Betika and Hasaacas signed a partnership deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Takoradi-based side have now won the league title on five occasions and will now be hoping for a return to the CAF Women's Champions League later this year.
