The competition in Big Chef Season 4 reached new heights on Sunday, June 1, 2025, as the remaining young culinary talents tackled a high-stakes Fish Challenge.
Contestants had just 45 minutes to prepare a standout fish dish—and the heat in the kitchen was nothing short of intense.
Each chef brought creativity to the table, but not everyone made the cut. This week’s challenge ended with the eviction of Marvin and Clifford, who had previously earned the title of Star Chefs of the Week.
Clifford, reflecting on his journey, shared how the pressure of last week's win affected him:
“Winning Star Chef of the Week last week made me feel okay, though I was honestly surprised. The win put pressure on me to do even better.”
For the fish challenge, Clifford originally planned to present a Fish Potato Cake, but time constraints forced him to switch last-minute.
“Time wasn’t friendly to me, so I ended up making a Fish Potato Sauce instead.”
Unfortunately, the judges remarked that although his dish was flavorful, it lacked the visual appeal expected at this stage of the competition.
Marvin also fell short, despite his well-fried Tilapia with vegetables. The judges noted that while his presentation was neat, the dish didn’t quite rise to the challenge in terms of creativity and overall impact.
On a brighter note, Monalisa shined brightly, winning Star Chef of the Week for her performance in the fish challenge. Her consistency and flair continue to set her apart as a top contender.
As of this week, the contestants still in the running include:
Monalisa
Sasha
Serwaa
Hilda
Nicolle
Rena
Raziela
Bubune
Jaden
Eliane
