Black Stars defender Rashid Sumaila has said that he is gaining more confidence ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Speaking after putting up an excellent performance against Holland in a 0-1 lost to the Oranje in a friendly match on Saturday 31 May, Sumaila believes the team is now reaping fruits of hard work in training as they prepare.
“I am very happy with this victory. We are now reaping the fruits of the hard work in training and that gives us confidence for the World Cup”, he said in a chat with JOY Sports.
Sumaila has now matured after pairing against injured Jerry Akaminko against Holland and on two occasions against Egypt in ninety minutes of action in each game
Meanwhile Ghana's final 23-man squad have arrived in Miami on Sunday evening after boarding their flight from Rotterdam following their friendly defeat to Holland on Saturday.
