Buena Vista Homes, Ghana was recently awarded the International Star Award for Quality (ISAQ) in the Gold Category at the 2012 International Quality Awards which took place on September 30, 2012 in the InterContinental Convention Hall in Geneva, Switzerland.
The event was presided over by Jose E. Prieto, President and CEO of Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D), along with outstanding personalities from the corporate world.
As a leading property developer in Ghana, Buena Vista Homes was recognized for its strong commitment to Quality, Leadership, Technology and Innovation. Companies from fifty-eight (58) countries around the world were awarded for achievements in Quality and Excellence.
Buena Vista Homes is made up of a team of Ghanaian entrepreneurs, who play an important role in business leadership in Africa and are focused on a continuous improvement of the entire value chain in property development.
Mr. Samuel Ewool, Executive Director, received the award on behalf of the company and dedicated it to the staff and clients of Buena Vista Homes for their hard work and commitment which has brought international recognition to the brand.
The B.I.D. quality symbol is present in 178 countries around the world, and creates a firm ground for the implementation of integral quality processes through the technology and procedures of the QC100 model of Total Quality Management.
According to Jose E. Prieto, “The awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation, making them models for others in their sectors.” The companies from Europe, America, Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East received the B.I.D. International Quality Award in recognition of their achievements in spreading Quality Culture. For their commitment to quality, those awarded join the historic group of prestigious B.I.D. Quality Award Winners. Among these outstanding companies are: Ansaldo Energia, Italy; RAO - Unified Energy Systems of Russia; Turner Construction International LLC of the U.S. KEPCO, South Korea and CH2M HILL, USA, Iranian Offshore Engineering & Construction Co. and Saudi Iron & Steel Company.
Also at the recently held Property Awards 2011, Buena Vista Homes was adjudged “Developer of the Year 2011 – Middle income Category”. This award is in addition to their award for “CIMG Best Radio Advert of the year 2010”.
In an interview, Mr. Samuel Ewool said these awards caps a very successful decade of building good quality and well crafted homes in plush neighbourhoods. Among their various projects include developments near the Celebrity Golf Club and Holiday Resort in Sakumono, the Coasta Villa and Marine Drive Developments along the Accra- Tema Beach Road
He noted that, these attributes are well known among homebuyers and respected among their peers in the industry and these put them ahead making Buena Vista Homes one of Ghana’s preeminent developers, with a reputation of good quality, well designed and built homes.
Mr. Ewool was quick to add that “indeed Buena Vista Homes are not built, they are crafted”.
