Medeama captain, Muntari Tagoe, has urged his players to show character and resolve in their penultimate CAF Confederation Cup tie against Mazembe.
The FA Cup champions are in dire need of all three points to keep their chances of making their first ever semifinal appearance in the competition, and Muntari is urging his colleagues to put in a great shift.
“We the players know what it is at stake because it is a big game by all standard and it is a must win game because if we want to progress to the semi-finals then we have to win this match.
“We were defeated by 3-1 in the first league and we saw how they play but as you progress, you definitely learn your mistakes. Gradually we are progressing and Sunday God willing, we will do our best to get all the three maximum points.
“The coach has spoken to us and we have also spoken to ourselves and going into the match, we need to character and self-confidence because it is a difficult match and they are a big but we have we will also do everything possible to get all the three maximum points.
The game will be played at the Essipong Stadium.
