CalBank, as part of efforts to expose and support their customers to go global with their businesses, has organised a cooperation meeting between Turkish and Ghanaian companies in Istanbul.
At the second edition of CalBank’s trade delegation B2B meetings in Türkiye, businesses from both countries came together to explore potential partnerships, collaborations, and trade opportunities.

The meeting held in collaboration with DEİK/Türkiye-Ghana Business Council serves as a platform for companies to discuss and establish business relationships, exchange information, and explore mutual interests.
Explaining the initiative, Daniel Appiah, Head of Business Banking at CalBank said, “Türkiye has become the new frontier in terms of local businesses and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
"So to introduce them to big players in the Turkish business industry and help them form partnerships for products and expertise sharing, we have put together these CalBank Trade Delegation B2B meetings”.

He further explained that the objectives of the cooperation meeting between Turkish and Ghanaian companies apart from facilitating networking and interaction between TĂĽrkiye and Ghanaian businesses, are also to open Trade and Investment Opportunities, where companies discuss potential trade agreements, import-export opportunities, and investment prospects.
Mr. Daniel Appiah indicated that CalBank’s B2B in Türkiye is to help participants gain insights into the business environment in each country.

“There are businesses in Ghana who are into production and are in need of export opportunities. Those who export machinery from Türkiye are also looking for cheaper business methods.
"What is better than partnering with a brand like CalBank which gives the credibility out here, so that it helps them form those partnerships and gain an advantage over their competitors,” he said.

As an indigenous Ghanaian Bank, CalBank the Head of Business Banking, Daniel Appiah said the results of the B2B meetings and their efforts for customers to explore strategies for entering or expanding their presence in the global space is assured.
