Cassona Global Imaging, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging solutions, has provided free hands-on training to 67 students from three prestigious institutions in Ghana.

They include Accra Technical University and University of Cape Coast.

The training, which focused on advanced ultrasound technologies, was led by Dr. Mary Goretti Owende, Clinical Specialist from Mindray Central Africa Region.

The students, who are studying medical laboratory technology, sonography, radiology, and radiography, were enthusiastic about the training, asking insightful questions and engaging actively with the presenter.

Dr. Owende provided a detailed explanation of elastography, a technology used to assess liver stiffness and detect liver fibrosis. She also discussed other advanced features of ultrasound machines, including liver assessments and women's health applications.

Dr. Henry Hackman, Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at Accra Technical University, praised the initiative, stating, "This partnership with Cassona Global Imaging will enable our students to gain hands-on experience with modern diagnostic imaging equipment. At the end of the training, each student was awarded a certificate of participation from Cassona Global Imaging, acknowledging their successful completion of the program.
