Chief Executive of the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), Senyo Hosi, has been awarded the most outstanding oil and gas Personality at the Oil and Gas Ghana Awards.
The Awards organized by the Offshore Ghana Oil and Gas magazine recognized individuals and intuitions that have distinguished themselves in the Oil and Gas sector.
A citation accompanying the award by noted that “Under his able leadership, the CBOD has become one of the most effective lobbying and advocacy groups in Ghana and demonstrated a remarkable capacity to push through the group’s collective agenda on many relevant issues”.
It added that “under Mr. Hosi’s effective leadership, has through effective advocacy sought to positively influence public policy decisions being made in Ghana in respect of the downstream petroleum industry generally and bulk oil distribution issues in particular.

Mr Hosi was appointed as Chief Executive of the Chamber in 2013. Prior to joining the CBOD, he worked as the Group General Manager for Meridian Management and Investments and served as a Director at Eco Petroleum Limited.
He is a Trade Finance expert and management consultant with working and management experience across varying industries including FMCG, Commodity trading, finance, logistics and downstream petroleum.
He holds an MBA in finance from the University of Ghana.
The Offshore Ghana Magazine is described by its publishers as Ghana’s top oil and gas publication. It provide its readers with a wealth of articles discussing expert opinions, analysis, emerging trends, growth opportunities and challenges facing the oil and gas industry in Africa, and Ghana in particular.
