Doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital are preparing to operate on the conjoined twins whose story was aired here on Joy News. The twins came out of their mother’s womb, joined at the belly and have since stayed in the hospital. After the story was told, several individuals and companies including MTN came to their aid.Even before their operation is done, another set of twins who were in a similar situation thirteen years ago are wishing their little friends well.Joy News' Seth Kwame Boateng has been speaking to Lydia and Linda who say God allowed them to survive and that same God will allow these new twins survive.Born in Somanya on 24 March, 1999, the two now live with their foster parents in Swedru.Their mother, Cynthia Morisson said she is happy with the progress the children have made in their lives.“I saw them little; I saw them grow and I saw they are good dancers. They can run. They are very courageous, bold and fearless,” she said.Lydia is now an athlete and hopes the doctor will conduct the surgery well enough to save her sisters.
