The Police, in collaboration with the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), has arrested Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Evans Agyei of the Service Fuel Station, Accra, for allegedly siphoning service fuel.
A statement issued in Accra and signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Cephas Arthur, Acting Director of Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service, said the policeman was reported to have been spotted siphoning petrol from service vehicle to refill his Benz Saloon car at his residence at Dansoman around 9.00pm on Friday, February 15, 2013.
The statement said the L/Cpl Evans Agyei is presently in police custody pending further investigation and necessary action.
