The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has closed its offices nationwide until further notice following confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the country.
The decision is part of the precautionary measures being undertaken by the GFA Executive Council to curb the spread of the virus.
According to the GFA, its members including clubs and Regional Football Associations should use online systems (email, Registration System - FIFA Connect) to communicate with the Secretariat until the offices reopen.
They will continue to engage with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service on the next steps and inform our staff and stakeholders accordingly of any changes.
The GFA also reminded clubs that are still engaged in training to desist with immediate effect and fully respect the directive from H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo.
The GFA, last Sunday, suspended all competitions in line with a directive by the state banning all large public gatherings.
