Defender Dan Quaye has revealed he is in talks with his former club Hearts of Oak over a possible return after his seven year stint in China.
The 32-year-old defender enjoyed an outstanding eight-year career at Hearts of Oak where he played a pivotal role in their 2000 CAF Champions League triumph in 2000 and CAF Confederation Cup in 2005.
Quaye started training with Hearts on Monday since returning from China after ending his contract with Chinese League One side Beijing Baxy in January.
According to him, he is ready to help revive Hearts with the experience gained over the years in his professional football career.
"Still I'm playing active football so my fitness is not a problem," the centre-back cum full back told Joy Sports.
"During our days you could see experience players among us but now I could see the team though they are good they need some experience to merge with the young ones so that they can learn from the senior ones.
"The place Hearts is heading is not good but I believe all will go well."
Quaye was part of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
