New safety measures had been done to protect human lives following an accident at the Makola Mall Phase 2 Construction site which led to the death of a hawker.
The deceased was hit by an item that tumbled from the top floor of the construction site.
The city authorities stopped all ongoing construction and shut the site.
In a statement released Tuesday, May 31, signed by PRO of the AMA, Numo Blafo III, it said, "the AMA wishes to inform the general public who use that area to and from for their usual businesses to exercise some care and follow the instructions and signals that have been placed there."
