Black Stars player Dede Ayew is confident the team will give their best in their upcoming match against Angola in the quarter final stage of the ongoing nation’s cup tournament.
Ghana qualified alongside group winner Ivory Coast but the team now faces a tougher challenge against Angola on Sunday.
Dede, who scored the only goal in the Black Stars’ win against Burkina Faso on Tuesday, said he is looking forward to the encounter.
“Now [Ghana] versus Angola is going to be a very important game and a very difficult game but in football everything is possible and I think if we follow our coach’s tactics... we can make it,” he told Joy Sports.
He said the “team spirit” with which the Black Stars trounced their Burkinabe counterparts will be in full gear on Sunday against Angola.
With qualification to the next stage sealed, many Ghanaian soccer enthusiasts are hoping the team will progress beyond the quarter finals.
