Bofoakwa Tano FC goalkeeper, Emmanuel Kobi, has set his eyes on reaching a record-breaking 20 clean sheets in the Divison One League this season.
The 20-year-old is looking to usurp Samartex goalkeeper Lawrence Ansah who has kept nineteen clean sheets - the highest ever in the Zone.
Kobi, who did not concede a goal in 13 matches out of 24 appearances is hell-bent on setting a record.
"I have set a target of wanting to keep 20 clean sheets. I am working hard and learning from European goalkeepers so that I can achieve my target." Kobi exclusively told JoySports.
Superb from this season
The shot-stopper has maintained his side's unbeaten start in the Division One League, Zone One, with zero goals conceded in six matches.
Bofoakwa Tano are sitting at the top of the table with 16 points as they continue their quest for Premier League qualification.
The Sunyani-based side also progressed to the next stage of the FA Cup after thumping Young Apostles 3-0 - seven clean sheets in all competitions for Kobby.
"It is a dream come true [seven clean sheets in seven matches] because I was not expecting something like this. I will keep on working hard so that I will get more."
Kobi has been at Bofoakwa Tano for the past five seasons.
