Italian giants AC Milan have loaned out Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah to Serie B side Reggina for more playing time.
The 20-year-old joined the Rossoneri this year after an explosive display at the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup earned him the Most Valuable Player and top scorer awards in Egypt.
Signed under Brazilian coach Leonardo, Adiyiah never made his first team debut but played few matches with the Primavera side.
“AC Milan communicates that the player Dominic Adiyiah has been loaned to Reggina Calcio,” a statement from AC Milan read.
Milan want to monitor his progress in Italy and so decided to rule out a reported loan move to either Hannover 96 or Mainz 05 in Germany.
Adiyiah cannot be guaranteed playing time at the San Siro with the availability of forwards Marco Borriello, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi.
The former Heart of Lions player made substitute appearances at the just ended Fifa World Cup finals in South Africa.
