Ecobank Ghana has been named “Best Bank in Ghana” by a leading international finance magazine, Euromoney.
The Ecobank Group also scooped the award for Best Bank in Africa.
This was at the 2012 Euromoney Awards for Excellence Dinner held last night in London.
The ceremony is regarded as the flagship awards for financial services globally and has been running for the past 22 years.
The winners were awarded based on Euromoney’s research on both quantitative and qualitative factors, such as KPIs, financial ratios and innovation of the banks over the past 12 months.
