The only copy of Ed Sheeran’s first demo album that he does not own himself is being auctioned and set to fetch £10,000.
The star wrote the songs when he was 13 and owns 19 of the 20 copies in the hope no one gets their hands on it but one copy appears to now be up for auction.
He recorded Spinning Man in 2004 when he was 13. It features 14 songs.
They are about what he once called his “soul-shattering” first break-up. He said he thinks there are 20 copies of the CD, and he owns 19.
Ed, 29, from Suffolk, added he did not want anyone else to get hold of a copy.
But one of the demos has been unearthed.

As a lad, Ed was staying with relatives while busking, and he handed a CD to one of their friends.
The man’s brother Kevin, who does not want to reveal his surname, is selling it.
He said, “My brother put it in a drawer and forgot about it.
"He didn’t realise Ed would go on to be one of the world’s biggest pop stars.”
