Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Abdulai Jinapor, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to working closely with the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) to strengthen the energy sector and support industrial growth.
Dr. Jinapor made the remarks after receiving a delegation from the AGI, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Seth Twum-Akwaboah, during a meeting aimed at exploring areas of collaboration between the government and the private sector.
He shared details of the engagement in a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 8.
According to the Minister, the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on issues affecting industry and discuss practical ways of strengthening cooperation to improve the operating environment for businesses.

He expressed appreciation to Mr. Twum-Akwaboah and the AGI delegation for what he described as their valuable insights and constructive engagement, noting that the contributions of industry stakeholders remain essential in shaping policies that promote economic growth.

Dr. Jinapor stressed that sustained dialogue and stronger partnerships between government and industry will be critical to building a resilient energy sector capable of supporting industrial expansion, attracting investment and advancing Ghana's broader economic development objectives.
