English-born Ghanaian youngster, Kwaku Donkor, is in line to sign his first professional contract with English League One side, Blackpool, Joy Sports understands.
The young right-back is expected to put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Seasiders ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Donkor will sign his first professional deal with the club in the coming days after impressing while playing for the youth teams.
The 18-year-old had been on a scholarship with the club but has now graduated and is set to ink a contract with Blackpool.
The defender was part of the Blackpool team that lost the semifinal of the English FA Youth Cup last year to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
In the last two seasons, Donkor has won the Lancashire Cup and the Central League Cup with Blackpool's U-18 side.
Donkor was born in England to Ghanaian parents and there is eligible to play for Ghana at international level.
