Ghana’s leading life insurance company, Enterprise Life, has launched its 20th anniversary of impacting lives.
The 20th anniversary, which is being celebrated under the theme ‘Impacting Lives 20 Years and Beyond’, commemorates the successes and achievements of the company over the past two decades while preparing the company for the challenges of the future.
Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director of Enterprise Life, Jacqueline Benyi, Francis Akoto Yirenkyi, General Manager, Distribution at Enterprise Life attributed the success and stability of the company to God, staff, clients and partners who have stood with them over the past two decades.
“The past 20 years has been a journey of dedication, fortitude, foresight and growth. As we celebrate the successes of the past two decades, we cannot discount the God factor in this journey. As we recount these successes and milestones, we are also reminded of the fact that this would not have been possible without the commitment, dedication and loyalty of staff, both past and present and all our partners for the confidence, loyalty and faith they have had and continue to have in us”, she said.
The Group CEO of Enterprise Group, Mr. Keli Gadzekpo, in his comments congratulated Enterprise Life and encourage them to continue being market leaders.
He said “20 years is an important milestone. It is a time to reflect on the past and re-strategize for the future. Looking back at our journey so far, we can only be grateful God for His grace and mercy and to the whole country for accepting us to be a part of their lives. At the Enterprise Group, our vision is that in all our markets, our pedigree will be recognized, our strength respected, our expertise valued and our solutions sought by all who desire an advantage in life. And Enterprise Life and what it has grown to become aptly defines our vision and what we stand for.”
“The decision to start a life insurance company came at a time when access to and penetration was very minimal and the need for a strong player in the life insurance business. In under 10 years of operations, Enterprise Life exceeded its growth predictions becoming the biggest insurance company in 2015. As Group CEO, I am humbled and proud of the achievements of Enterprise Life and the successes of the past make me look forward to the next 20 years with confidence and excitement”, he explained
“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Enterprise Life Ghana for this feat. The Group is proud of them and we encourage them to continue working hard and with the level of loyalty and enthusiasm that has resulted in the many achievements over the past two decades,” he added.
Esther Armah, Head, Re-insurance and Anti-Money Laundering of the National Insurance Commission (NIC), who represented the Commissioner at the launch congratulated Enterprise Life.
She said “Enterprise Life was formed at a time when there were only a handful of insurance companies. Today, our records show that the company is the leading insurance company in Ghana in terms of claims and market share and we congratulate them for that.”
Enterprise Life was established in 2001 as Enterprise Life Assurance Company (ELAC) with one branch and 9 staff.
In 2013, the company rebranded and changed its name to Enterprise Life to usher in a new phase and readiness to deliver outstanding performance for clients and customers.
Today, Enterprise Life is Ghana’s foremost life insurance company with an above-market performance becoming the highest premium earner and market leader in the life insurance industry.
Over the past two decades, the company has received several awards and honours in recognition of its commitment to deliver excellent services to all stakeholders.
