UNDER 20 world cup winning goalkeeper Daniel Adjei has cautioned members of the new Black Satellites team to remain focused on reaching the Africa Youth championship despite a convincing first leg win over Morocco in the final qualifier.
The Satellites beat Morocco 4-1 in Tamale last Sunday ahead of the return leg in two weeks time and the team is already celebrating qualification for Algeria 2013 because of the margin of the victory which looks untenable.
But Daniel Adjei who was goalkeeper for the 2009 squad which went on to claim the Africa and world titles for the first time wants the team to finish the job in Rabat.
“The players shouldn’t be swollen headed because they won convincingly here, I will advice them to go all out in the second leg to book qualification to the tournament”. He told JOY Sports
“They should stick to Coach Maxwell Konadu’s instructions and not do otherwise, I believe in the team and trust they will make it”.
