“In Mexico we celebrate #diadelosmuertos and in Panama we celebrate #diadelosdifuntos , curiously, TODAY the entire world will celebrate the birthday of the most famous #pallbearer and who is in charge of making sure that many people receive their last celebration of life with dignity and love.

Benjamin Aidoo became popular after a video of him and his colleague pallbearers dancing with a coffin went viral.

The group experienced a second round of internet fame, with social media users adopting the troupe as a dark-humoured symbol of death in the time of Covid-19.

The group was also featured in a short campaign video of Donald Trump, which was aimed at ridiculing his opponent, Joe Biden.
