Renowned Nollywood actor, Pa Yemi Lawrence Adeyemi, affectionately known as Suara, has passed away.
The veteran actor’s family confirmed his passing on Sunday, September 25th, 2023, in an official statement released on Monday. They, however, did not disclose the cause of his demise.
Suara, a household name since his role in the Super Story series titled ‘Oh Father! Oh Daughter!,’ portrayed the character of a polygamist, sharing the screen with Buky Wright as his first wife and Sola Shobowale as his second wife.
According to a statement signed by his son, Adedotun Adeyemi, Suara actually passed away on Sunday, September 24th, 2023.

Adedotun expressed their deep sorrow, saying, “It is with heavy hearts and profound submission to God that we announce the departure of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Oluyemi Lawrence Adeyemi (Suara), who peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 24th, 2023."
"We take solace in the knowledge that he now rests in peace. During this grieving period, we kindly ask for privacy. Further details about the funeral arrangements will be shared soon.”
Suara gained widespread recognition through his role in the 2001 hit series ‘Super Story,’ created by Wale Adenuga. His legacy in Nollywood will forever be cherished.
