A sensational second half strike by skipper Sandra Owusu Ansah ensured that the Black Maidens advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
Owusu Ansah proved to be the heroine of Ghana again, breaking a scoreless tie against Paraguay at Al Hassan International Stadium in Irbid.
A discipline Paraguay side, who had nothing to play for except hinder the progress of the Maidens, provided a stiff competition for Coach Evans Adotey's girls.
But the West Africans needed a moment of magic from skipper Sandra Owusu-Ansah to claim the full spoils at stake against the South Americans.
The forward, who scored the match winner against USA delivered again but this time in terrific fashion as she fired home a spectacular clincher.

Acheampong cushioned the ball into her path 25 yards from goal and Owusu-Ansah took it first time on the volley, sending a right-foot shot looping into the top-right-hand corner.
Ghana progress as second best team in group D, behind Japan who crawled from behind to hand United States of Ameriica a 3-2 defeat.
The Black Maidens will play Korea DPR in the quarter-final stage.
